To whom it may concern:
It is my distinct pleasure to recommend Ivan. Ivan was the care-taker for my uncle Mordechai for the last two and one-half years of his life.
Ivan is kind, considerate, efficient, reliable, and thoroughly agreeable. He took care of the uncle from washing him, cleaning his apartment, wheeling him out to drink gin with me amongst the blooming almond trees, shopping for him, helping the uncle get situated when we went numerous times to lunch at the soup festival at the Inbal hotel, aiding him in getting in and out of the car wherever we went, assisting him in sitting in the seats at the Jerusalem Theatre in order to hear the musical performances, and much, much more.
Ivan read books to Mordechai, was always there to help him get CNN on his television set, and was always ready to aid in any way. Ivan not only set the table for our weekly Friday night meals there, but he did the clean up. He did the laundry, washed the floors, brought up the newspaper. read stories to Mordechai, and helped in a thousand and one other ways.
Without the care and concern of Ivan, Mordechai would not have had the very high quality of life that he had for his last years. When Mordechai was sent to the hospital, Ivan always accompanied him and stayed with him in the hospital, including sleeping on the floor or chair, if necessary. He is conscientious, unassuming, diligent, able, and proactive.
Ivan is a real mentsch and whoever he works for in the future will receive a high quality worker
with the strongest work ethic, amazing patience, and remarkable abilities.
It is without qualification that I recommend Ivan. He is, in short, outstanding and I shall always be grateful to him for the kindness and service that he provided for my uncle Mordechai.
